We have defined our business model with Several Objectives:

First and foremost, to provide a quick and easy informational site about Savannah businesses, with detailed listings that are both interesting and useful.
This is the local BUSINESS INFORMATION service for READERS.

Second, to provide a FREE yet effective Internet Marketing platform for any and all local businesses (and community organizations), as an alternative to traditional advertising (TV, Radio, Newspaper, and Magazines) or to supplement an ongoing marketing strategy.
This is our INTERNET MARKETING service for BUSINESS OWNERS.

And lastly, ADVERTISING OPTIONS are available, partly for us as a revenue stream, but also to provide extra business information for the readers. The Savannah Business Directory is a "Quick & Easy" source for local business information, in a single comprehensive list.

Why use the Savannah Business Directory?

The Savannah Business Directory, or Savannah Biz℠ for short, was launched in 2005 through the work of a small team of local professionals in Marketing, Administration, and Computer Science. The group realized that large search engines return results of mutiple matches; however, those results do not always return all qualified local businesses, especially on the important first page. In fact, many businesses are somewhat invisible on the Internet because they are obscurred by larger competitors, much like a group photo in which the people in the front row hide the ones in the back rows.

The listings are open to all local businesses; and we encourage readers to "Buy local and Support Local."

This year, thousands of visitors view the Directory each week; and sometimes thousands in a single day.

The main Business Directory is a long illustrious list of Savannah businesses, showing such items of information as the business name, tagline, address, address details, phone number, special note, and links to the business website plus social media links.
Nothing fancy; but interesting and useful.
